Her eyes fluttered and for a moment, she gasped for breath. The first thing she realized was just how much pain she was in. She didn't know why, but her entire body ached. As if she had been thrown against a wall or something. She opened her eyes fully, her throat feeling dry. Her head turned to the side, expecting to see Grayson beside her, with Maybelle nestled between them. She had become obsessed with sleeping in their bed anymore, now that she knew how to walk and open doors.

What she saw was steel bars, machines and a vacant bed beside her. There was a curtain and to the distance, a closed door. The room was barely lit. She groaned, her hand moving up to her eyes, rubbing them. Her throat hurt so bad and her lips felt chapped. She turned her head, seeing a pitcher of water and a cup. It was tempting.

It was the hospital. Why was she in the hospital? She groaned more, shutting her eyes. She sat there for a few moments, before finally finding the button that called the nurse. She waited, her eyes focused on the door. Before she knew it, the door was thrown open and shocked eyes remained on her from the woman in white. You're awake!

"What...happened?" She asked, as the woman moved to get her a cup of water. She felt the cup get pressed against her lips and she took hold of it, drinking it greedily. The woman looked to her, jabbering on and on about the grocery store. Margie just stared at her for a moment, as it all slowly came back to her.

The grocery store...she had gone out with Maybelle. They were going to get supplies and bake a cake for Daddy. There had been a man...and then...

Her eyes widened and she looked to the woman. "Where's Maybelle?" She asked, her voice almost a demand. The poor nurse simply stared at her, stammering for words. She was taking too long. Margie couldn't put up with it, instead moving to sit up fully, intent on leaving the bed.

You can't do that, Mrs. Ward... She said, placing her hand on Margie's shoulder, in an attempt to stop her. Margie jerked her shoulder back, continuing. The nurse frowned, continuing to insist. "I need to find my daughter..." Margie hissed. Before she knew it the nurse rushed out. Good, she didn't want to deal with her anyway. But she wasn't able to enjoy the moment long, because moments later, healers rushed in, moving to grab at her.

She thrashed against the healers, who were circling her. There were more then she could count and for some reason, it made her panic. They reached forward, grabbing hold of her arms, shoving her back down onto the bed, despite her thrashing. She needed to get away, even if they wanted her to stay. She needed to find Maybelle because the last thing she remembered was throwing herself onto Maybelle, shielding her from the beams that fell from the ceiling. She didn't remember anything past that and the panic returned.

"Where is she!" She shouted, as they confined her wrists to the bed. This was not helpful. She needed out of the bed. She needed to find a family member. Grayson, Vaughan, Fear, Nyall, Sophie, Frankie...anyone. She needed to know where Maybelle was and the fact they were trying to restrain her was making her more and more angry. Her heart was racing, machines beeping, her voice becoming harsh, from repeatedly calling out the same questions, each beginning to get louder in volume and intensity, swear words being tossed in.

Tears of frustration built up in the corner of her eyes. She was used to finding out answers on her own, being able to do as she liked. She didn't like being held back. If she had her way, she'd have got the healer's right in the stomach with the end of her fist and rushed from the hospital bed. But she couldn't and she threw her head back, letting out a frustrated scream, her hips bucking up as she slammed her knee into the closest person. She felt someone grab hold of her foot, jerking her leg away from her and pushing it down to the mattress.

She let out another scream, still not understanding what was going on. She didn't know why she was alone. Why was she in here alone with these people? Where was everyone? Why were they ignoring her questions? Did they not want to answer? Had something happened? Her body continued to thrash, even with the constraints now placed up on her, as she did her best to pull from them. She choked, her throat feeling raw and a small sob escaped from the deepest depths of her chest, before all of her tears streamed down her cheeks.

She's alright, Mrs. Ward. Calm down...she's alright. She heard a voice say. One of the healers. It didn't even matter which one. Her eyes drifted to the side, back towards the door. It had been slammed shut by one of the healers...were their people outside it? She could almost see the top of someone's head...but she couldn't makeout who it was, her eyes being so blurry. She's fine...

"I want my baby...I want my baby..." She began to repeat over and over, turning her head to the side, trying to shield her face against the pillow, trying to ignore the group of doctor's around her. Her chest rose and fell, panic still filled with in her, as she gasped for air between sobs, making herself come close to hyperventilating.

Someone stroked her hair, as if trying to console her. But she did not recognize the touch. You can see her soon... she heard someone say. Eventually, she just exhausted herself to the point that she laid there, motionless, staring at the wall, as silent tears rolled down her cheeks.

(I had been extremely bored on Shannonlee and wrote this as a One shot after injury Margie. It turned into a full fledge RP but I was damn proud of this post so I wanted to post here).

History:
Noah Colleen Matthews was born on the 2nd of November to Alexis and Ezra Matthews. She was born in a small little hospital on the outskirts of Louisville, Kentucky. Her parents hadn't planned on her being born in Kentucky, as they were actually residents of the state of Tennessee, but they had been visiting family in Louisville and Noah just wanted to interupt the reunion. She was born a few days short of an entire month early and because of this spent the first week of her life under close observation at the hospital. After it was determined that she was strong enough to leave the facility, her family took her back home to Tennessee, where they had a small home in Lynnville.

Noah wasn't a planned addition to the Matthew's family. They already had one son, Eliezer (or Elie, as he was more popularly known) who was already twelve years old when his little sister was born. Noah was the result of a spur of the moment cross country, family vacation to the grand canyon. But this isn't to mean that she wasn't welcomed eagerly for Noah's mother, Alexis, had always wanted a daughter. And it was clear from a very young age that Noah was her mother's pride and joy, her little angel.

Noah didn't have a very strong bond with her father though. Her father worked for an online operated candy store that offered products from all around the world, which he began all on his own. It wasn't the most lucrative buisiness, but it was what he did. And because of his choice profession, he spent a lot of time away from home, traveling around the country for buisiness meetings and out of the country to try to get his hands on new products.

Her real father figure was Elie, who was her knight in shining armor. Her brother could do no wrong in her eyes. Even though they had a tremendous age gap, they had a rare and strong relationship. At times, he treated her more like a daughter then a sister.

When Noah was seven years old, her father decided to move the family to New York City because it was a wise buisiness investment. Noah hated this because her brother was attending a University in Tennessee and she knew if they moved, she'd see him even less than she had been since he graduated from high school.

Nothing extraordinary happened to Noah over the next few years. She eventually adjusted to the city life, even though it was a bit forced.

She was in the 6th grade when everything turned for the worst. The world tore apart, or thats the expression she always hears, and everything changed. Panic erupted through the city when no one could make contact with family that was out of the city limits. Raids began and with them came fires, shootings and death.

Her parents got caught in the middle of a raid when they were attempting to reach the apartment to get Noah. Eliezer and his wife, Courtney, had moved to the city a year or so prior to everything turning to chaos. And it was Elie who came to rescue his little sister.

For nearly two monthes, she moved from home to home with her brother and sister in law, trying to just survive in the madness that was the lower districts of the city. She didn't know if this lifestyle would ever change, always worrying about ducking and hiding from strangers who at one time you would have smiled too and said hello.

One night, when the small family was staying in an abandoned toy store close to central park, a man by the name of Lucius came into their lives. He stepped into the toy store, wearing white flowing robes. Eliezer immediatly picked up the gun that they had managed to get their hands on and told the man to leave, since it was there shelter. But he refused, instead waving his hand, the gun flying away from Elie in a flash. He spoke calmly and said he wished nothing more than to take the girl away from this terror, to take her somewhere safe. But his words brought no comforter and Elie would not just have his little sister taken from him, espicially by a stranger. So he fought, rushing at the man with as much forced as he could muster, slamming his fist into Lucius' cheek. However he was quickly thrown back, landing ontop of Courtney.

Lucius then advanced upon Noah, who was hiding behind a cash register, watching him through the glass. Behind him, flames burst all around, with the blink of an eye. Blinding orange and screams of panic, then the rush of pain to her forehead, the last tangable memories Noah had of that life.

When she awoke she was laying in a bedroom, decorated with pink and yellow flowers, that smelled like honey. Sun shined through a large window by the bed and she quickly moved to look outside it. What she was nothing like New York City...or anything she could have ever imagined. Fields upon fields of lush, green country. Trees that were so tall it looked as if they reached the entrance to heaven.

But no matter how beautiful the place appeared, Noah was quick to realise just how terrible it was.

Noah was given to Magnus and Jada Albescu and was the fourth child they had 'acquired.' Ofcourse, Noah didn't realise she was the fourth until she was told by Jada. The only boy they had ever 'adopted' got sick during his first winter in Peredur and passed away by the new year. The other two, both girls (she can't remember their names), were quickly married off.

And the same would happen to Noah. Noah made it known that she hated the entire situation, that she wanted to return to her brother. That she didn't mind the raids and the fires, she just wanted to be back with her family. When her constant cries did nothing to sway her position, she decided to simply ignore anything asked of her. It was expected of a girl her age to assisst in the kitchen and to mend most of the household garments. She refused and when they literally forced a needle and shirt into her hands, she ripped it down the seams.

Ofcourse this behavior only brought her harm. By the time she was twelve, she became used to a smack across the face from Magnus for even glaring at him. So she did her best to stay away from both her foster parents and took quite a liking to the farm chores instead. She once found an abandoned goose egg and she raised it, because she needed to have something to love, even if it was just a goose. Once the bird hatched and grew, it was her constant companion. His name was Octavius.

She onced angered Magnus so bad that he just stormed off, not saying a word. It shocked her, because she had been expecting to be slammed against a wall. However at dinner that evening, they had roast goose and potatoes. It was half way through the meal that Magnus asked rather horribly "Know where that damn bird is of yours?"
"No"
"Look down"

She hasn't ate any type of poultry since.

During this time they were attempting to teach her telekenesis. She didn't show much promise during lessons, but she knew just how skilled she was. By the time she was thirteen, she was already near the skill level of Jada, who she was learning from.

At fourteen, she was told she was going to be meeting with suitors and she wasn't to say a word to any of them, for they were afraid that she'd scare them off with her sarcasim. She had no choice in her husband or future. It only took them a month to settle on a Mister Quinn Sawyer, who thankfully was extremely younger then the majority of the suitors she was approached by.

On the night before her wedding, she was sitting alone in her bedroom, looking at her wedding dress. When she was younger, she had always dreamed of getting married when she was finished with college, because her mother had always told her that was the best time. She never thought she'd be forced into marriage with no visible way out...it just had never been in the cards. She was so caught up in her wonderings, she didn't noticed Magnus enter her bedroom, which was always a bad thing.

When he shut the door, her head snapped up and she immediatly frowned. She told him she wasn't in a mood for visitors and was about to retire for the night, but he would not leave. Instead, he advanced towards her bed, which made her jump up in protest. Before she knew it, his hands were on her wrists, his teeth nipping at her neck, pushing her back towards the wall. He kept muttering "Bout time did something useful with you..." against her skin. She thrashed and shook, trying her best to get away from the man, but his grip was too tight. Finally, out of desperation, she made one of her large books fly off the table and cuff him upside the head.

When he crumbled to the floor, Noah ran from the house. She never returned. She spent the night in the forest and arrived the next morning at the church ten minutes before the ceremony was to begin. She was soaked from the morning rain, standing in a blue night gown, her hair sticking to her face. She didn't wait for Magnus, who was glaring at her the entire time, to walk her down the aisle, she practically ran down it.

And when she reached the front, she stood up on the tips of her toes and whispered into Quinn's ear.

"Save me"

And then she got married. It took years for her to treat him like a husband but now that she does, she can't help but admit that she loves him. Sometimes she wonders if she would have ended up with him had she not been forced too...and as of late her answer is always the same.

Ofcourse she would have.

Abandoned Character #2 [Mon, Oct 8th, 2007 at 9:09

]
[ mood | good ]

((I really liked this one. It had ties to my old DW character, so it was really nice. Didn't get to finish him or play him much though. Oh well.))

Name: Samwise Emmanuel Gargamath
Age: 25 years old (December 12th)
School: Salem Institute of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Ex-Wife: Dorothy Carter
Son: Rochester “Chester” Caden Gargamath
Father: Caden Quentus Gargamath
Mother: Regan Summer Gargamath (formally Franklin)
Grandfather: Simbo Gargamath (formally Greenleaf)
Grandmother: Keavy Gargamath
Brother: Caspian Orsino Gargamath (27 years old)
Sister: Avalon Desdemona Gargamath (19 years old)
Brother: Holden Salinger Gargamath (17 years old)

My name is Samwise Emmanuel Gargamath, yes that is right, I said Samwise. I am not a hobbit nor do I appreciate the question, so before you even think to ask, it is Samwise and I do know quite a few hexes. Keep that in mind. I tend not to go by my full name simply because I’ve always preferred Sam. Sometimes I wonder why my parents couldn’t have just given me a normal name, like Samuel or Samson, but then I suppose I wouldn’t be me.

I was born on the 12th of December in a quaint little hospital in the downtown district of Quebec. If you want more detail it was the 4th floor of the hospital in room 412. The doctor that delivered me was Winston Freeman, who was also the doctor who delivered all my siblings. I was a little over two weeks prior to my due date, which was estimated to be Christmas Eve. However, I came early and I’m quite fond of my birthday. Not that it probably matters to anyone else, but numbers have quite an interesting pattern. And I just always found it interesting that I was born on the 12th day of the 12th month. Maybe I’m just odd like that.

My family is known for being rather…well, famous. There is no other proper word for it. Years upon years back my great great grandmother was one of the most influential witches in all of Canada, and possibly the whole wizarding world. You might have heard of her…Lilandra Gargamath. Yes, THE Lilandra Gargamath, the former headmistress of Deckleswood. But we don’t need to talk about her…everyone knows about her. But to refresh your memory she had a daughter known as Panra Gargamath. This daughter, who was one of four daughters and a son, married a man named Dante Kilch. They had three children together and one of them was named Keavy Gargamath. Keavy went on to marry Simbo Greenleaf, who was the best friend of her older brother Christian. Together Keavy and Simbo had BLANK children named Caden, BLANK AND BLANK. And well…Caden is my dear old Dad, may he rest in peace.

My Dad went to school in America, because by the time he was born, Deckleswood was shut down and had boards all over the windows. He attended Salem University and became quite the business major. Salem was an interesting school because it didn’t just teach the basic wizarding courses, but some rather useful ones they incorporated from the muggle education system. My Dad took his fair share of the magic course (he was a whiz at Potions) but his real love was his business courses. Economics, Finances, Marketing, Investments… he loved it all. Once he graduated from Salem, he opted against achieving his DRAGONs but instead went to a muggle University to get a degree in business. The University that he enrolled in was the University of Ohio and it was there that he met my mother.

She was a year older than my father and studying to be an English Professor. For those who don’t know my mother, she is just the biggest literature nerd in the world. If you haven’t caught on, she is the reason I was named after a character from Tolkien mythology. They hit it off immediately and by my father’s third year in the University, they were engaged. Once he graduated, a year after my mother, they married immediately. It was a small wedding from what I understand, hardly any of my father’s side of the family invited. I’m not sure who all was in attendance but I know that both sets of my grandparents were there, as well as my great grandmother and my father’s uncle Christian and his wife Aimee. My grandfather, Simbo, was my Dad’s best man and my father’s cousin, Ryan, was his usher. My parents got married in my mother’s family church, which was in a little town in Ohio, so my mother took my father’s surname. I’m very glad that this happened because I really think that Samwise Franklin would have sounded horrid. Oh…I didn’t mention my mother’s name, did I? Her name is Regan Summer Gargamath, formally Franklin.

My father ended up getting into a few rather lucrative investments, the most important being the deeds to the bank in Decklesby. Until he acquired the deeds, my parents had been living in a little flat in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. They quickly made the transition to Decklesby, where they were close to family once again, and it was around this time frame that my father admitted his heritage to my mother. Not that it matters, but my mother is a muggle. She took it well to say the least.

A year after my father gained the deeds to the bank, my older brother Caspian was born. I’ll only tell you a little bit about Caspian, because you all were curious about my life. I just am really close to my family and I can’t help to talk about them. My brother Caspian is very outspoken and makes his opinions very clear. He was very good with Astronomy when he was in school, something that my father always laughed about, but we never knew why. He is now working for the American Ministry in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He is married to a rather lovely girl, Audrey, and they have a little girl named Marion.

The Parts I never got to writing

- Talking about Dessi (Avalon) and pursuit of a degree in Women's studies. She was attending Ohio University as well, like her father.
- Holden, who was still in school at Salem, the more or less black sheep of the family. Known for being a sort of bully and prone to starting fights, though oddly had an obsession with music and was an active member in the bands at the school. He played trombone.
- Bringing up how Sam got married immediatly out of school because he got his girlfriend pregnant and he felt like it was his duty. This caused a riff between Sam and his father that last for a year or two.
- Sam having his son, Rochester.
- Caden passing away and leaving the possession of the bank to Samwise because his Sam was an accountant and understood how to manage a bank.
- The divorce and custody battle for Caden.

Lil's birthday [Sat, Oct 6th, 2007 at 10:32

]
[ mood | blah ]

((The last of the old DW stuff I can find))

The door crept open and the lady’s head snapped up, turning towards it. She had deep red hair and wore pitch black robes that hung to her sides when she stood. A smile crept on to her lips as she stood walking to the younger girl who stood in the doorframe, wrapping her arms around her tightly. “Panra!” she said with glee as she released her, then placed her hands on the girl’s shoulders. “my…every time I see you, you seem more older.” She grins and nods her head at the girl, taking her hands away from the girl.

The girl alike was around her late twenties, wearing soft blue robes, hood atop her head. Her dirty blond hair hung out from the cover, and her dark green eyes watched the older mother. She went towards the couch, sitting down slowly, then looking back to the other women. “Is Striker home?” Panra asked, as her mother sat down beside her. Lilandra shook her head, “No…he had work” she stated leaning back on the couch. Panra nodded, “It’s a shame…but I’m sure he’ll make it up to you” she winked. Lil’s eyes grew wide, “Panra!” she screeched, making her daughter giggle. She swatted her hands, “Only kidding mommy.”

Lil chuckled then took the pot of tea and offered her daughter a cup, who nodded in return. Lil gently poured the tea as she kept an eye on her daughter. ”So, have the other’s dropped by yet?” she asked humbly, taking the cup of tea and smiling at her mother in return. “Jenny and Oliver came by Dismorning, but they had to go teach a class and all, so had to leave. Melissa dropped by yesterday afternoon, and as for Suos, she just left” she smiles.

Panra yawns and reaches inside her robe pockets, digging around inside them. She grins then yanks out a small box and hands it to her mother. “Open it…” she says eagerly, awaiting her mother’s response. Lil carefully takes off the paper, and opens the small box, reviling a flower necklace with five different stones with in it, all five stones of the Deckleswood crest. Lil’s eyes sparkled and she looked at Panra, then pulled the girl into a loving hug. She kissed her forehead and wiped away a tear. “Thank You” she whispered. Panra stood and then looked away for a second. “That’s not the real present mom…” she stopped for a second. “I just wanted you to know how much I love you, and I know I’ve caused you a lot of trouble and pain, but I’m sorry. I just wanted you to know…because I don’t express it often how I feel. But…I hope one day I make you proud…” Panra placed her head down. Lilandra took her daughter back in her arms and stroked her hair. “Sweetie…you already make me proud. Everyone makes mistakes. You mean the world to mean” she assured her. Panra nodded then headed towards the door.

She looked at her mother then whispered, “Oh? And Mom. Happy Birthday”

Abandoned Character Half Bio [Sat, Oct 6th, 2007 at 10:26

]
[ mood | blah ]

((This was my character on New DW. He was completly finished in my head but it didn't really matter much because I'm not part of New DW now. But here it is. No point wasting all my work.))

Owenshire graduated from NAME OF SCHOOL with top marks in many off his primary classes. Upon his graduation he applied for a summer internship, sponsored by the Ministry of Magic, with the intention of training recruits for the Romanian Dragon Keeper program. The entry level test (which was administered on the first day of the program) showed to be hardly a challenge for young Mr. Davenport, whose knowledge in the area of Magical creatures had always been advanced. He was looking forward to completing the internship and being hired for a position in Romania. However, in the early weeks of July, an incident occurred. A few dragons we’re being kept away from the reservation and at the testing site. Of these few dragons being kept for the summer program was a Hebridean Black. The animal had managed to break free of it’s enclosed territory and the possible recruits we’re the first able to get to the scene. It took all of them to even contain the animal, but this didn’t come without a cost. Owenshire was one of the first wizards to arrive on the scene, having been entirely focused on the task at hand. But one of his fellow wizards called his name, for reasons he has never really understood, and for a brief moment he lost concentration. And at that moment, the dragon’s tail swung around, slamming into Owenshire defensivly.

He went flying in the air, landing nearly 30 feet away and found himself unable for move immediately. His shoulder, arm and part of his side was bleeding from the impact but that wasn’t his primary concern. His arm laid limp at his side, pain shooting all through it. Atfer the dragon was detained, he discovered nearly every bone in his arm had been shattered. He’d have to with draw from the program while he was in rehabilitation, which the Healers said could take the good part of a year. Re grow bones could do nothing for him when his arm was broken that severely. He was placed in more or less a modified muggle cast.

And given the suggestion that he find temporary employment.

From that experience he had to pick himself up and move on. Since he could barely move his right arm, which had hi quill hand, he had to evaluate his options. He had never been keen to attend a Wizarding University…it wasn’t necessary too become a dragon keeper. But it seemed like the only thing he really could do after the accident. He enrolled for the Fall semester just for a basic general degree. After only three weeks at the University, he picked his concentration as Ancient Runes. In his first two years he took various general magic courses (higher level Charms, Arithmancy, and the like) before moving onto the Advanced Ancient Runes courses. His last year at the University he began the student teaching program. He was told to shadow a professor at the University and as time progressed, he more or less taught the courses.

Once he graduated he decided not to immediately begin teaching. He hadn’t really gotten to take any form of a break from school since his first year in Wizarding School, over ten years back. So he took a position as an archaeologist where he spent a year in Scandinavia examining the runic alphabet. After a year in Scandinavia, he was promoted to a higher position which entitled him to move to Iceland for two years.

After working in Iceland for two years, studying and releasing documents about the Old Norse runes and their importance in the magical community, he resigned from his position to finally take his turn at teaching, which is where his schooling had been geared towards. He sent in various applications to a few select schools and was offered a position at Durmstrang first. He wasn’t too fond of the idea, having always heard rather nasty things about the institute. But then he was offered a position at a newly opened school in Vancouver and he accepted it almost immediately.

Panra fails third year [Sat, Oct 6th, 2007 at 10:23

]
[ mood | blah ]

((Another one I didn't want to loose. I think this one was from sophmore year.))

Panra grumbled to herself as she hoisted her bag of books over shoulder. She walked into the astronomy room, no one was looking. Grinning to herself she ran off in the opposite direction. She snuck towards the 2nd floor and hoped into her normal secret passage, behind a suit of armor, that had a door hidden behind it which led to the 5th floor. The room she crawled into was the usual abandoned class room, in which no one used anymore and no student could get in with out going threw the passage since it was sealed off at the entrance.

She took out her journal, which she had received from her Ex-Step-Father; Striker Jones; as a Christmas present when she was nine years old. Being that she was so into writing, she had feel up all the pages of parchment with in a few months. She kept adding new slips of parchment and would feel those slips up with stories, charts, and maps.

She put her quill to her mouth, gently nibbling on the end, trying to figure out how to write a new story she had thought of. As if a candle had just come on in her head, she began writing sentences at a fast paste. A thud of footsteps came from outside the door, and she heard the familiar voice of her mother. Quietly swearing to herself, she hurriedly packs her things into her bag, then crawled back down the secret passage.

Swearing to herself she tried to think of a place to go so she wouldn’t get caught and have to sit threw detention yet again. Then the thought came to her, it was risky, but worth it if she could escape. If she ran from the suit of armor to the painting of a Centaur, a crawled threw the revolving door, she could hide inside the deep passage till classes were over and she could head to her dormitory. She threw open the door to the passage, and sprinted threw the halls trying to get to the other side of the school. Thinking she had made it, she felt her heart sink as she realized there was a tug at her robes. Her mother, the Headmistress of the school, was grinning at the young teenager. “Where are you going Pan?” Lil asked smirking a bit. Panra slumped a bit, her red tinted brown hair falling over her face. “ Oh well” she grumbled as the young 3rd year walked with her mother to receive her detention.

The term passed rather quickly and Panra stood in the back of the great hall, watching the 7th years graduate with big grins over their faces. The celebration ended and she walked over to the graduation list and looked for the 3rd year column. She put her finger under the title and slid it down, looking for her name. Squinting her eyes, she did a double, and then a third look.

Most people had left the Great hall already and Panra began pacing, muttering “ Maybe it’s a misprint”. She jumped about four inches into the air when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Turning quickly, she saw her mothers eyes meet hers, with a look of disappointment. “Oh god, it’s not a misprint” Panra muttered walking with her mother to one of the dining tables. “ Mom I can explain!” Panra squeaked, but stopped when Lil put her hand up in the air.

“ I don’t want excuses. I know you understand the material, and I know why you failed. Panra, why aren’t you attending classes? I was told they only saw you in Astronomy twice this semester! Twice?!?!” Lilandra almost hollered, making a few professors look over. Panra shut her eyes, not used to her mother yelling. Opening her eyes, she saw her mother sigh and turn her back. “ Clean up your act. If I don’t see you in classes next year, you will be in for it young lady” Lil mumbled then walked off, back to the Staff table.

Shocked, Panra stood with her mouth dropped. She quickly shut it then began walking do her dormitories, with her hands in her pockets. Her mother had never been ever really disappointed in her, but then again, her mother would have never though she would fail the whole year. Breathing in deeply, she mumbled the password for the common room and jumped through the portal and thought to herself, “Maybe I should try to do better. To make her proud of me”, then climbed up to her room.

Panra E. Gargamath's Bio [Sat, Oct 6th, 2007 at 10:19

]
[ mood | blah ]

((I wrote this when I was a freshman in High School. In other words, it sucks. But I wanted to post it incase I ever lost it again. This is the original one but I had another version that was much better and went through her marriage and divorce.))

The parents’ love for their child is the most precious love next to the love between a couple. Their love creates another, which they both love so much they’d give their life to protect their child. Well this story is like many others. A story about a mother and a father’s love for their daughter, and the extent it develops. James and Lilandra Gargamath, though, went threw more pain then normal parents. But the outcome, Panra Gargamath, would be worth it all.

In the beginning, their was a young girl named Lilandra Satine Gargamath, the of Travis Blaze and Caryn Gargamath’s children; or was thought, who ventured out to a young magical college entitled “Madam Aubrey’s school for advance magical education”. Soon she met an older student, in his 3rd year at the college, who was named James Christian Grindo. She was attracted to the young man from the moment she saw him when she stepped off the arrival train, entranced by his sparkling emerald green eyes. He too was smitten by the young girl’s beauty, wanting to run his hands threw he shimmering deep red hair. The too were separated and did not see each other till later in the term, where he stumbled into her in the hall, the two immediately realizing who the other was. James smiled softly, making Lil, as many called her, blush more red than her own hair. He quickly asked the girl her name and she choked out ‘Lilandra Satine Gargamath’, making him chuckle. “Long name you got, Lily” he told her. She nodded also with a chuckle and politely asked his own name, in which her returned saying ‘James Christian Grindo’.

After that, the two were inseparable. They’d meet each other at any free moment they had, James even helped her with her homework. By March of that year the two were considered “dating” by many of the students. One night James pulled her aside and asked her to the up coming ball that would take place next month. She happily said she would and began preparing to buy a dress when she left for Spring Vacation. She didn’t ant to leave James, but she decided she need too. On her week off, she bought a long white gown, which made her look like a princess; as her father had stated proudly. She soon returned to school and the night of the ball, she met James by the staircase. When he set his eyes on her, he knew he had fallen in love. He looked rather handsome himself, wearing a black tuxedo with his hair spiked up. Lilandra also knew on this night, she loved James Grindo with all her heart.

Time passed and James graduated from Madam Aubrey’s school, yet returned the next term as a teacher’s aid. He became well known for writing a book on the History of House Elf’s, which sold numbers of copies in the millions, yet he still worked on the school….but to only see his “Lily Flower”. The two tried to hide their affections, but met in empty classrooms often to discuss their lives and just to see each other. On the night of Lilandra’s senior graduation, James took her to cloud nine for dinner. He bent down on one knee and proposed on the spot. She threw her arms around him, kissing his lips passionately, causing him to be taken aback, which was proven when he fell upon the floor when she rapped her arms around him.

The two were married shortly after, in which both family’s gave their approval, and by Canadian Wizarding law, James took Lilandra’s surname. James took a job as a minister for the Canadian Ministry of Magic. Only a year after the two were married, and living peacefully in the Canadian Mountain’s in a small house, James was sent a letter asking for him to go to Transylvania. Lilandra begged him to not go, she knew this was dealing with the dark lord, Lavarius, and she did not want him going anywhere near. But he insisted he had to, and left two weeks later, leaving Lilandra alone in their little house.

She soon realized she was pregnant with their child a month after he left. But she was distraught. She had received no letters from her husband, none at all. Soon though one letter did arrive, addressed to ‘Mrs. James Christian Gargamath’. She quickly ripped open the letter, praying it was from James, though it did seem odd he addressed it the way it was. She thought to herself happily, believing he’d be returning to help raise their child, who was due around the day James and her were married two years ago, February 14th 1975.

The letter read as stated:

Lilandra Gargamath,

We regret to inform you that your husband, James Christian Gargamath, has been lost in the war against Lava….Lav….Lavrius. It is believed he has died in action, though we are not sure. We are deeply sorry and we will continue to look out for James.

Sincerely,
Canadian Ministry of Magic

Lilandra dropped down to the floor, her hands shaking, tears dropping on to the note of paper. She collapsed, curling into a ball on the floor, holding her knees, her face among them, tears dropping. She stayed like that till the next morning, though she did not sleep. She stood, grasping on to the wall to help her stand. She shook as she walked, heading towards the phone. She dialed her father’s number, and waited for them to answer…so she could tell them everything, even about her pregnancy.

Month’s would pass and Lilandra knew she need to support herself and the child, which by know she was showing…near her sixth month. She went to a school, which would open next term. She applied for a job as a History of Magic professor and the headmaster, Christopher Tepperweed gladly gave her the job, since she was after all, one of the most powerful witches in Canada.

Three months later, Lilandra was in her home reading the History of House Elve’s book James had written, the first edition that read ‘Dedicated to the love of My life, Lilandra’ in it, and she felt a contraction. She eventually grabbed the phone, dialing her mother’s number. With in hours, the child of Lilandra and James was born, a week early, on February 4th, 1977. The child was a baby girl, with Lilandra’s dark red hair and James’ emerald green eyes.

The moment the child was placed in Lil’s arms, the baby girl looked up at her mother and just looked. She then tilted her head, looking around. As if expecting someone else. She didn’t look at Travis or Caryn, but then looked back to Lil. Lilandra smiled at the baby, knowing she was looking for her father. “Papa’s not her baby….Panra” she whispered. When the doctor’s asked her name, Lilandra only whispered. “She’s Panra. Panra Emaline Gargamath…James would have liked that.” She then nodded and held her baby close.

The first term of Deckleswood began soon, when Panra was six month’s old. When lily started working, Panra stayed with her grandmother, Caryn, a lot. While Lilandra was working at the school, Panra would sit on her Grandma’s lap, and look at photo’s of Lily. But Caryn did not show the child James, as she thought that was the wisest choice.

Soon Lilandra began to grow closer to her fellow Professors, becoming good friends with Christopher Tepperweed, Quentus Kilch, Megan Wicca, and Striker Jones. Many of the professor’s had children like her. Quentus Kilch had a young boy named Dante Kilch. Lilandra did take her to Christopher and Amy Tepperweed’s house often, for they had a young girl who was only a few month’s younger than Panra, Kari Summers, Summer’s was Amy’s maiden name.
But she seemed extremely attracted to Striker, and he filled a part of her heart she thought had died after she read the letter about James, who was now presumed dead and Lilandra was a widow. She and Striker began to see each other after classes for lunch and dinner, occasionally tea and biscuits, and Lilandra discovered she was falling in love again. By now Panra was one and a half, and speaking simple words. Lilandra now made it an accustom to bring Panra to the school, for she knew Panra did not scream or fuss often.

One day Panra crawled up to Striker, who she was growing attached to, and she tugged on his pant leg. The man swept the girl up in his arms, and Panra touched his cheek, and said very softly “Papa”. This caused the man to stare at her, and Panra’s emerald green eyes studied him, wondering if she did something wrong. Striker walked over to Lilandra, Panra still in his arms, and he handed her to Lil, telling her what had happened. Panra stared at Striker and her face scrunched up, and hollered at the top of her lungs, crying violently. Lilandra was taken back, not used to her daughter acting like this. She eventually calmed her down, but Panra refused to speak after that.

Soon Striker proposed to Lilandra, and the two were married. Lily soon discovered she was again pregnant and told her daughter she’d have a little sibling soon. Panra looked up at her mommy, thumb in mouth, and just frowned. This worried Lil and she discussed this with her husband. Her daughter hadn’t talked much since that night. She’d said juice, night, and no. That was all…in the last four month’s. But soon Lilandra had more to worry bout, raising a new baby.

Her daughter with Striker was born shortly after Panra’s second birthday. The child had Striker’s dark hair and more of Striker’s looks. The two decided to name their child Melissa. It became evident that Melissa was not as calm as Panra was, she wailed more than Panra. After Melissa was born, Panra began talking more, excited to have a new companion. Though it became evident she had a bit of longing for what Melissa had, a real father. Melissa would call her big sister “Pwanny” which translated to ‘Panny’.

Time went by and both children grew, and Lilandra became the headmistress of Deckleswood. Soon Panra was five years old and she needed to head for Magical Elementary school. Lilandra insisted Panra attend McFlurrys Magical Pre-School. Lilandra had much reasoning for this, since she knew that’s were James was taught when we was a child. Before Panra was sent there, she witnessed the divorce of Striker and Lil, which crushed the child. Which opened a new door in her life…

This was the beginning stage of Panra’s life, which would last till her teens, in which she was rebellious. She refused to her class work and homework, and caused much trouble. She did graduate by a “D” average, only due to her passing her tests. She did learn a lot when she sat in her mom’s classes. The day she graduated, she heard many of her teachers say many different things about a man. “Her father would roll over in his grave” or “Shame her father isn’t around, maybe she’d be more focused”. This made Panra very curious.

Lilandra was angered by her daughter’s acts at school, but she didn’t know how to handle this. Melissa was being educated at home and Panra didn’t seem the same girl she had raised when she returned every summer. Soon though Panra would enroll in Deckleswood, and Lil hoped her daughter would act better at her own familiar ‘home’.

Panny was nervous her first night in Deckleswood, as she stood in the mess of students, awaiting for their names to be called. A young girl stood beside her and grinned at Panra. Panra smiled and extended a hand. “Hello, I’m Jenny Greenleaf” the girl said. Her light brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she had a cheeky grin. Panny laughed and smiled also, “I’m Panra Gargamath”. The girl’s eyes lightened up and she pointed up to Lil. “She’s your mommy?!” in a shocked voice, in which Panny nodded.

She soon heard her name called and she skipped up to the sorting boots. She placed her feet within them and waited for them to begin…chanting. “Hmm….interesting. Daughter of powerful witch and wizard” causing Panra to blink. “Very very unsure of self….much rebellious style of life….but yet cares deeply for others. Hmm your hard one Gargamath…you’d do well in Onyxshadow…yet” Panra breathed in tight. “…I believe I know where I’ll put you…SAPPHIRELAKE!!!!!!” they screamed and Panra jumped out of the boots, rushing over to the table. She watched Jenny get sorted in to Emeraldpeak, and her twin brother, Oliver Tim, get sorted into Topazgale. Logan Greenleaf, their father and a professor at the school, was talking to Panra’s mom, all proud, as was Lilandra.

Days passed by and by, the years passing with the shift of an eye. It became evident Panra, Jenny, Oliver, and Melissa were all great friends. But it also came threw that Jenny and Panra were the best friends within the group, for the two were inseparable. They’d find secret passages within the school, sneak into each other’s common rooms, and skip classes together, which made Lilandra very angry, but she often did not say anything for fear she had caused her daughter’s actions by how she raised here.

Addison Lane Swift History [Tue, Apr 10th, 2007 at 12:30

]
[ mood | creative ]

Addison Swift was the last child born to Noel and Aubrey Trafford. The two had already had three children together during their fifteen years of marriage and did not intend on having anymore. But fate and a family vacation to Santa Monica, California ignored those plans. Addison Lane Trafford was born on the 3rd of November after a 13 hour labour, the first child in three years.

From the begining, she was a Daddy's girl. This wouldn't change as she aged over the years. Whenever her father would return home from work, she'd be by his side, trying to climb up his leg to get to his shoulders. One of the most interesting things to her was when her father would take her to work with him. He worked in Middletown, RI and had a nightmare of a commute, but in her eyes his job was amazing. He was a technician for submarine combat, but all she knew was that he worked with submarines, and how many kids in her class got to say their daddy's worked with a submarine? That's right, none.

Ofcourse whenever people asked what her mother did, she couldn't say anything. She had been told from the first day of school to say that her Mommy didn't work, which always confused her, because she knew her Mommy worked. Her Mommy worked for some school in Massachusettes known as Salem Institute and it was where her big sister went to school. The reason she wasn't allowed to say anything was because, well, her Mommy was a witch. And Addison attended a school where they didn't believe in witches. And Addison had to pretend they didn't exist. She had to pretend from a very early age that she wasn't one herself too.

She didn't quite understand why only some people could do magic. Her mother explained it to her once, when Addison had to watch Cody have a breakdown shortly after Jude's eleventh birthday. Jude had recieved his acceptance letter for Salem, where Devin went to school and their mother taught. Cody had casually asked his father when he would get to go, figuring he'd be able to go after he finished fifth grade. When Aubrey told the boy he wouldn't get to go, simply because he couldn't do magic, he broke down. Even at five years old, Addison knew that her parents handled that badly. She immediatly sympathized with Cody, who she was closest too.

That night her mother told her that Cody was a squib, but that it wasn't a surprise. Since their father was a muggle. All these new terms confused Addison. Her father was the most brillant man in her eyes. It never occured to her that she had never seen him with a wand before. She never noticed how he drove a car, but her mother appeared and reappeared wherever she pleased.

Since her sister was so much older then her, she rarely saw her except for holidays and the summer vacations. Because of that, she always spent time with her older brothers, though more often Cody. Cody was big on football, and once Jude went off to join Devin at Salem, Addison was the only one around to play with him. So from around six years old, Addison was playing football constantly. As time passed, she became obsessed with the game, more so than Cody. She ofcourse enjoyed other sports such as Soccer and basketball, but football has and will always be her favorite.

Eventually she recieved her acceptance letter for Salem, the summer before her eleventh birthday. She was excited and nervous at the same time, because she knew she'd have some big shoes to fill. Her mother was a skilled witch, who taught Advance potions. Her older sister had graduated with a focus in the care of magical creatures, eventually going to Romania to work with dragons. And Jude was in his seventh year and following in their mothers footsteps. But either way, she vowed to herself that she would try her best.

It was a hard transition. She wasn't used to being away from home for long stretches of time, and unlike her mother, she couldn't go home once classes ended. She was forced to remain there. For the first portion of her first year, she was extremely depressed, lonely and home sick. But with time, it faded away, espicially as she made new friends within her school.

She didn't excel in any specific magical subject. She was decent at Charms and Ancient Runes, but she was by far no superb student. Her skills were in the courses that were similar to her muggle elementry education. She loved her Literature courses, always preferring them to her magical arts studies. By the time she was in her 7th year, nearly all her elective classes were based around Literature. She had four courses that spanned various aspects, ranging from creative writting to Shakespeare. She also took a study of various religions, Ancient Runes and Charms.

Since she had been a member of the school's Football team for two year prior to graduation, she was offered several scholarships from muggle and magical universities. She accepted one for a University in New York City, which allowed her nearly an expense free tuition so long as she participated on the school's football team. She was ecstatic. She was always the kind of person who wanted to achieve things on her own, without help. She'd be able to attend an amazing school and play her favorite game, and not have to ask for help from her parents, even though she knew deep in her heart that they would have helped her if she just asked.

College was the perfect atmosphere for her. She was able to express her opinions and ideas, often being encouraged to do so. And because of her position on the football team, literally the only girl, she gained a certain level of popularity. Many different names were assigned to her, but the one that was chanted the most was "Hot #47," which was her number on her school Jersey. She was officially a Running Back and often, she was the most used of the few players. She was quick, agile and damn fast. She had been an Offensive lineman since her years at Salem, always really being rubbish at Defensive.

Near the end of her first season, she was playing a school from Michigan. That game would be the game that in essance changed her life. Because it was at that game she met Atticus Swift, who approached her once the game was finished, as she made her way towards her beat up car, intending on meeting some of her team mates at Waffle House for a victory dinner. She had been approached by boys before, usually ones who seemed to have it in their minds that she was easy, though she never could figure out their reasonings. But this one was different. He was just curious about her, about her playing on the team. And it was odd, but she immediatly felt comfortable around him, even at such a late hour.

They conversed for several weeks, meeting in the city for cups of coffee or quick dinners at Taco Bell. By January, they were officially dating. He was different from all the boys she had ever seen during wizarding school and in college. He was interested in her for who she was, not because she was popular or because she was pretty. She quickly found herself falling for him.

It wasn't long before they were always in each others company, whenever they had spare moments. On weekends, she began staying at his apartment, it obvious she was a very smitten young girl. Every morning when she'd wake in his arms, she really thought that everything was right in the world. It didn't occur to her how quick that could all change.

As time passed by, the two became careless, which was more then expected in a couple of their age. A rather fun game of football in the snow led to a passionite night and a month later, Addison was hunched over in the dormitory bathroom, tossing up all her breakfest.

When her symptoms didn't go away with the aid of DayQuil and NightQuil, she began to seriously question whether it was a flu bug or something else. She held the pregnancy test in her trembling hands, surronded by four of her best friends on the team, and nearly passed out when the strip turned blue. David, who had always been her best friend, promised her it would be ok, promised her everything would pan out.

She wasn't convinced that easily.

The next day she went to Atticus' apartment, keeping the best composure she could. It was hard. She was nervous of his reaction and whenever she thought about the little person growing inside of her, she felt like she would throw up. A baby was never something she had thought about, never something she really strided for. Maybe one day...when she was done having a life of her own. But not at this moment in time, nto when she still had so much left to live for. She viewed it more as an end then a begining. Her life, as she knew it, was over.

His reaction shouldn't have surprised her. She wasn't subtle about it at all, she didn't know how to be. At first he didn't believe her, thinking it was a joke. He had to make it difficult, had to make her say it again. She stood in his living room, watching him walk away from her, moving into the kitchen. She watched him, not flinching, as he turned over the table with the dinner he had prepared for them over. She watched him snatch up a bottle, and then she stopped watching. She had had enough. She turned away from him, leaving his apartment in a huff, retreating to her dorm room.

It wasn't long before he wound up there, stinking of alcohol, a drunken mess. She said nothing, simply letting him in. He held her through the night, mumbling soft words, as she trembled in fear against him. She was terrified, because for the first time in her life, she had no idea what was going to happen.

The next morning, Atticus proceeded to surprise her. He spoke of responsibility, of honor, of his duty. That he would take care of her, of their child, and that everything would be alright. And she absorped all his words, her eyes focused on him. He asked her if she wanted to do this the proper way and get married.

She didn't quite know how to respond. Her initial reaction was that she was too young to get married. But then again, she was too young to be a mother, and she had no choice in that matter now. And she knew that if she were to tell her father she was pregnant and had no intention of getting married, that he would never forgive her. So she took in a deep breath and leaned forward, placing her hand upon Atticus' cheek, giving him a weak smile. She told him that she didn't love him, she wanted to make that perfectly clear. Because she didn't, atleast not yet. But she mentioned how she was heading in that direction, she definitly knew she was atleast falling in love with him.

Their wedding was quick, a whirlwind of a marriage. It wasn't even a real wedding. They arrived at the court house not even two weeks after they discovered they were having a child, both their brothers as the witnesses. She remembered begging Cody to come down and not say a word. After they were married, they had dinner with Benedict and Cody in celebration.

The drive back to Rhode Island with Atticus, in Cody's car, was one of the longest she had ever had. She was terrified of telling her father. She doesn't quite remember how that conversation went, she pretty much blacked out the moment her father opened the door.

She simply knows that her father hasn't looked at her the same since.

She didn't return to school for the fall semester. Dropping out of University was hard for her to bare, but she didn't talk about it with Atticus, always under the assumption that he wouldn't understand. It's an assumption that she still has to this day. That they're are just somethings he wouldn't undertstand about her, so she simply doesnt' discuss them. She doesn't think how much she might be hurting him.

Not too long after her nineteenth birthday, her son was welcomed into the world. He was born nearly three week shy of his due date, which sent Addison into a panic. She had sent out a string of curse words when her water broke, telling him he better slow his ass down and wait three weeks. By the time she got to the hospital, she was in tears, terrified that something would go wrong. But after an extensive labour, her son was placed into her arms. He was a tiny, little thing, but a fighter. And she had never been prouder in her life. She shifted him in her arms, proudly displaying him to his father, tears running down her face. "It's our boy, Atty...our little boy" was all she said.

They named him Lennon.

After his birth, Addison's life was dedicated to his. And it's been that way ever since.

In 2003, the three moved to Wales. It was a hard adjustment for her, mostly because she was so used to being near her family, but she kept her head high and cooped. Since then she's enjoyed her life at home with her son, playing the role of the housewife the best she can.

3. Spouse/Significant Other: Atticus Swift
4. Children:
Son: Lennon Ian Swift
5. Likes: Growing up with a very absent sister and two older brothers, many of the activies Addie enjoys comes from spending time with Jude and Cody. She was always playing football with Cody, helping him to practice, so he could one day get on the Varisty team at his high school. She grew so fond of the practices that she began to pester her other sibilings to play with her when he couldn't. When she was in wizarding school, she demanded that they let her try out for the football team, something that created quite alot of scandal, for reasons she never quite understood. For the first two years she tried out, she was told that she wasn't good enough to make it on a Varsity football team, which was all they offered. But by the third time she tried out, her 5th year, they could no longer deny the talent she had and were forced to allow her to play. Her skill on the field gained her several various scholarships that enabled her to continue onto college, even though her career in higher education was brief. She played on her University's team the fall semester of her freshman year before she was forced to drop out.

Aside from football, Addison loves to learn. She never really had any idea as to what she wanted to do once she graduated from Salem Institute, but she knew she wanted to keep absorping knowledge. She figured that college would help her figure out some direction. Before she dropped out, she was seriously considering the path of a teacher in Literature, which was easily one of her favorite subjects. She was rather positive that she wanted to work in the muggle world opposed to the wizarding world, which might have been because of her brother's limitations. She also enjoyed mythology and the study of various religions. She has a tendency to be very artistic. She paints in her spare time and has gotten pretty good at the craft, though she thinks shes rubbish.

Her favorite foods are Coconut Cream Pie and Lobster rolls. Since her arrival in Wales with her husband and son, she has become rather fond of the Welsh cuisane, and is probably the only one. She is particuarly fond of the british sweets and has declared that Cadbury's Crunchie bar is the greatest candy bar ever. During her pregnancy, she developed a rather horrible love for trash television, reality shows and soap operas.

She hates herself for it, but she is addicted to nicotine. She's been smoking since she was about 16 years old. She tries her best to not smoke around Atticus or Lennon, usually doing it late at night outside the house. She doubts her son has ever seen her smoke, that's how careful she is about when and where she does it. It is important to her that her son never see her do it so that he doesn't even risk picking up the habit at an older age. Every year she tells herself she'll quit, but it has yet to happen.
6. Dislikes: Addison hates the way some of the wizarding population acts towards muggles. She has never felt she was better then someone just because of her ability to use magic. She hates that her relationship with her father has been strained since her marriage and how little they have spoken in the past five and a half years. She hates beans on toast.
7. Profession (for Graduates): None currently

Opening Post, The Doctor (Cannon, Torchwood) [Mon, Jul 31st, 2006 at 12:10

]

*The Doctor sat comfortably in the worn out, suede lounger that he had dragged into the control room. His feet were propped up on the console, his focus on a bit of wiring he had rested in his lap. He occasionally picked it up, turned it, examining it again...trying to figure out what he was overlooking. Trying to figure out what was causing it to not work.

Of course it would have been a lot easier had he not had that damn music roaring in the background. He groaned softly, dropping the wires once again, his hands moving to his temples. He pressed his index and middle fingers against them, applying pressure...making small circles. The spice girls. Why had he chosen a companion who worshiped the Spice Girls?

Oh...that was right. She was brilliant.

He had spotted Martha on a street corner, near Harvard. 2027, mid May, lovely day. 4 months, 3 weeks, 5 days, 8 hours and 37 seconds since he had last spoken to Rose.

He had finished his mission. Which was to attend the premiere of Star Wars Episode 9, which he had attended the prior evening. He couldn't help but laugh at himself...900 years of time travel and he was at a lose as to what to venture too. So he went to a film. Oh, his people must have been proud.

Week later, the Tardis once again was home to more then just himself. And she was a treat...she was. She had a mind and she loved to read. But...

...but she wasn't Rose.

He took in a slow breath, shutting his eyes. Martha had been in his company for nearly three months now...and he was about to storm into her quarter's and snap the disc in half. Damn VH1 Classic for deciding to air it's tribute to the Spice Girls after Ginger's death, just when Martha Jones happened to be flopped in front of the Telly.

He remembered a time, long ago, when he had the exact same thought. When Susan had discovered the Beatles and all he heard was Strawberry Fields Forever…for days on end.

He forced himself to push his thoughts away, opening his eyes. He dropped his hands to his trousers, scooping up the wiring. He’d have to figure out what was causing the lights in the hall to flicker later.

He needed out of the TARDIS. He needed to escape…needed air. They were currently parked. Somehow he had promised Martha they’d stay in one place for longer then usual…

…and he was kicking himself for it.

He pushed open the doors of the Tardis, not bothering to tell her where he was going. He stuck his hands into his pinstripe suit’s jacket, smiling at the breeze that rushed through his hair. He emerged from the blue doors, heading down the street’s of London, completely unnoticed. The way he liked it.

*The class stirred in their seats, unsure as to what was going on. It was the first day of class...and it was a whole group of first years, all gathered together in the large room. It was dark, barely lit, the only real light shining in from the slits of the blinds that covered the large windows around the room.

But there was no professor. No where to be seen.

The chatter grew louder, most of the pupils turning to one another with a confused look, trying to figure out where the Professor was. Where they early? Or was the class cancelled without them being informed?

It didn't matter though, their questions would not recieve an answer. For at that moment, the door was tossed open and a short man stepped in, in a hurried pace. His shirt wasn't tucked in, and he was adjusting his tie as he walked towards the front of the room. He looked as if he had just woken, some of his hair sticking up in the back. Finally, he came to a hault by the large desk in the front of the room, and turned to look at the children.

He tilted his head, his hands slowly letting go of his tie, moving to his sides. He smirked a little* Good morning! *He chanted, his tone cheery and much more awake then most expected. He yawned after, bringing the palm of his hand to his mouth. After a moment, he nodded to them all, his hands moving behind him to rest on his desk. With one leep, he was sitting ontop of the smooth surface, grinning at them all. His arms came to rest on his knees, his hands grasping together, as he smirked at them all*

Alright...In What Episode of the Original Star Trek series did Scotty adress Captain Kirk as Jim? *He smirked even more when he saw a hand shoot up near the back, but mainly he had to keep himself from laughing as he saw the blank stares he was getting from the rest of the class. He pointed to the boy* Mirror, Mirror, right? *He laughed when the boy nodded his head up and down* Will talk after class...*He waited...waited for his name. Ah, Edward Burns. He nodded, then glanced to the rest of the class*

I know, I know. You all want to know about the history of Magic. Fine, fine. *He smirked a bit, then hopped off the desk, moving towards the chalk board. he snatched up a peice of chalk, and quickly scribbled the name of the class across the board, underlining it three times, before turning to look at them. His hands shifted, moving to rest in his pockets. He took in a breath, popped his lips a few times, then sighed* Alright, let's begin. Role call...and I promise I'll only do this until I learn you lots names...*He moved back over to his desk, glancing down at the paper* Quinn Albright, lovely name Albright. Knew a bloak from Washington named Albright...

Note: This was Jacob's sample post. It is my favorite sample/solo post I have ever done, simply because you get a real feel for who Jake is. Or atleast I think you do.

Brynn Divanity Solo [Tue, Jun 20th, 2006 at 12:25

]

*Brynn sat at the edge of the bed in the cheap hotel he was forcing to call home for a short period of time. He needed to find an apartment, but he was just to lazy to go out and look at the current time. Not to mention, the World cup was on this month, and that meant he was glued to his television. And when he wasn't glued to his television, he was in a pub, discussing it with the other lonely souls.

And what was he doing at that very moment? Staring at the television in suspense, his hands clenched into fists, watching the ball as it was kicked around on the field, his eyes following the ball as it zig zagged back and forth. And there it went...right into Ukraine's goal, Spain just scored it's 3rd point. His eyes widened and he jumped from the bed, pointing at the scream.* GOD DAMMIT! What kind of a block was that!?!? YOUR A GOALIE! GUARD THE GOAL! *He screamed at the television, thrusting his hands into his hair and then in the direction of the television, looking aggravated as hell. They were going to lose. Spain was up by 3 points, and poor Ukraine had none. He reached back to his hair, yanking at the strands as he growled in frustration* Come on! *He whined, before falling back on the bed, staring up at the cieling as he heard some commercial jingle begin* Bollocks...

Note: This was my sample post for his ap, but I liked it alot so I just kind of...made it it's own entry

Brynn Divanity, RA Character [Tue, Jun 20th, 2006 at 12:22

]

Name
: Brynn Divanity
Nickname: None that he's aware of

Age: 41 years old (June 1st)

Profession: Herbology Professor

Family: Wife - Lily Divanity
Son - Kaian Divanity
Daughter - Melia Divanity

Personality: Brynn is the kind of man who likes to do things simply because they sound interesting. Even though his techinical profession is a Botanist, he has taken various jobs simply for the need for change. As he is rather intelligent, this is not hard for him to do. He also likes to travel. His philosphy is that you only get one life on this planet, why spend all of it stuck in one place. He also can admit if he has made a mistake, and tries his best to fix an issue if something is wrong in his life. He expects to be treated with respect and will return the favor. He also has a bit of a temper, that is hard to get to come out, but once it has, you'll know.

History
: Brynn was born in Cardiff, Wales. His parents owned a small bookstore in the town, which was open for both the muggle and wizarding community. It offered books of all kinds, though the titles that pretained to magic and the wizarding life style were located on second floor, which was masked from the eyes of muggles. Due to his parents profession, they had quite alot of spare time, and decided it'd be a rather neat idea to homeschool Brynn instead of sending him away during the days. This continued on, even as he grew. He was sent an invitation to attend Hogwarts, but his parents declined, having already started teaching him the basics of magic. His father's estimate was that Brynn was already as skilled in magic as a regular third year, so the idea of sending him to school where he would be bored just seemed silly.

He had a knack for gardening since he was child. His mother kept a small vegitable garden behind their flat, and he loved helping her tend to it. So it wasn't much of a surprise that he developed an itnerest in Herbology. Plants were just a wonder to him, he couldn't help but love them.

Once he was of age, he quickly took a job working as a Botanist for the London Ministry of Magic. He helped grow the plants and herbs that were eventually to be used in various experimental potions and remedies. It was while he was in London that he met the love of his life, Lily. The lass was nearly four years younger then him, just out of wizarding school, and she took his breath away.

Their romance was like a whirlwind, and it wasn't long before the two were expecting to welcome another little person into their lives. Even though the two were both young, Brynn thought it was important for their child to be born into a real family. So marriage was quick, but he never regretted it, infact he still states it was the best day of his life.

With the arrival of their first child, a healthy boy that the two named Kaian, it would seem life was perfect. The three shared a flat in Chester, where they moved to shortly after their wedding. Things seemed perfect, and the idea of possibly having another child was on both of their minds.

When Kaian was two years old, Brynn did something very odd. He up and quit his job at the ministry, without even discussing with his wife. He needed a change, and things were begining to get tedious in London, espicially with the travel. It didn't take him long however, to find a new job, something completly different. The big problem however, was that it was in Ireland. It was a harvesting profession, with less pay, but he seemed much happier. Because he couldn't commute to and from England to Ireland, he simply sold the flat and moved his family there.

Things were however, begining to get a little rough. Money was less accesible while the family was residing in Ireland, they lived a little house in Cork of all places. And they soon welcomed a little girl into the world, their daughter Melia.

It was a week before Melia's first birthday that a few of Brynn's mates decided to pull him out for a round at the pub. He swore to Lily up and down that'd he would be in by midnight. But he never did come home that night.

Instead he went home with some pretty lass, a year younger then him. He never did get her name.

When he woke the next morning, he was quite well aware of what he had done. He went home and he didn't even consider hiding it from his wife. He sat her down, and did his best to explain the situation, explain how he barely remembered it at all, that he wasn't himself. But it didn't matter what he said. To say that they fought was an understatement.

Infact, he wound up unconcious on the floor before he knew it.

When he woke, she was gone. And it felt like his life had ended.

He didn't bother to try and find her. He had this small hope in his mind that she'd return, slap him a few times, then curl back in his arms. The worst part of it all, was walking around his empty home, looking in his children's bedrooms...and being completly alone. When he was sent divorce papers, nearly a year later, he didn't sign them. He tossed them in the fire and continued sipping his brandy.

Since his families departure from his life, nearly thirteen years back, he has absopred himself in work. He traveled all over Europe, taking different jobs, trying to enjoy the life he was forced to live with.

Likes: Brynn has some rather fine tastes when it comes to food. So you won't see him picking up a hotdog very often. However he will make an exception for fish and chips. He loves to cook and over the years as gotten rather good at it. One of his favored foods is Bara brith, which is a very sweetbread. He also has a slight love for sherry. He thinks strawberries are the most romantic food and used to get them all the time when he and Lily were courting.

He also enjoys muggle life. He has taught courses to muggles on basic plant life on several different occasions, and has never understood people's prejudice towards them. His favorite sport, muggle or wizarding, is without a doubt football. He has been a loyal supporter of the Ukraine national team for nearly thirty years, but will admit they aren't as good as other teams.

His favorite singer is Frank Sinatra, while his favorite music genres are the Blues and Jazz. But he does apperciate most music genres, and on occasion will play bands people wouldn't expect him to enjoy. A prime example would be the Sex Pistols, one of his favorite bands when he was growing up. However, he cringes when ever he hears Sid Vicious' version of My Way.

Dislikes: He despises fast food. He'd doesn't believe in food being available that quick. He likes waiting for a meal, espicially when he knows it'll actually you know...taste good, unlike the junk you get at fast food chains.

When people see a film based on a book, but never pick up the original novel. That drives him insane. Though he will admit, The Notebook is one of the rare times when the film was better then the novel (He only read it because he wanted to see why all the muggles were raving about it...and he watched the movie because he had nothing better to watch at 3 AM).

Appearance
: Brynn is a rather tall man, coming in at about 5'11". His hair is a light brown, but in his recent years it has grown a few strands of gray. Not many, but enough for him to complain upon. His eyes are a dusty grayish blue. He likes to dress to impress and always has. Rarely do you see him in something other then a pair of dress pants and a button up with a tie.

Note: This is my newest character and I'm most proud of his history. I loves him.

Jacob Aberdeen, RA Character [Mon, Jun 19th, 2006 at 11:52

]

Name
: Jacob Issac Aberdeen
Nickname: Jake

Age: 24 Years old (October 12th)

Profession
: History of Magic Professor

Family: Father - Joshua Aberdeen
Mother - Amanda Aberdeen
Brother - Matthew Aberdeen
Sister - Haley Aberdeen

Personality: He is very smart, always been the book worm type of person. He enjoys a good laugh and always tries to do his best to be there if someone needs him. He can also be a bit zany, as he is noted for talking to himself when frustrated.

History: Jacob is the second child of Joshua and Amanda Aberdeen, the middle child. He was born into a family of muggles that resided in Gardner, Kansas. Like most middle children, he was not recoginized often. His elder brother, Matthew, was the atheletic one. His sister, Haley, was the artistic one. And he was simply the brain.

Even in the early years of his childhood, he was interested in History. While most kids were reading Goosebumps or Nancy Drews, he was reading biographies on Madame de Pompadour and King Louis XV. He also had a slight "interest" (aka obsession) with Science Fiction. His Uncle introduced him to Star Trek at the age of seven, and he's been a loyal supporter since.

When he was eleven, he recieved an invitation to attend a school of magic known as Rolequin. The invite ofcourse perplexed both him and his parents, but after discussion, he was allowed to attend.

Not to much surprise, his immediate favorite subject was History of Magic. He is rather sure that he was one of the few students that actually enjoyed the class, mostly because he was one of the few who stuck with it past fifth year. He also enjoyed Charms and Ancient Runes.

After graduating, he worked in a small bookstore during the days. At night, he attended teaching siminars and courses, with the goal of becoming a Professor eventually. When the position of HoM opened up at his old school, he was ecstatic, and applied immediatly.

Likes: Food - French Fries and Bananas
Entertainment - Star Trek. He is very proud of the fact that he can name every character to have ever graced the fandom as well as most works that the actors did aside from the series. He has a rather large collection of Memorabilia on display in both his apartment and office. He can also speak Klingon. He is a very proud Trekkie.

He also enjoys Star Wars, Comic Books, D&D, Battlestar Galactica, The X Files, and Dune.

Dislikes: He doesn't have alot of dislikes. Infact, when asked the question, he sits and comtemplates if for a few minutes, before giving the same answer everytime. "The Phantom Menace"

Appearance: He had very weak brown eyes. He has been told for years that he should wear glasses on a regular bases, but he refuses, only wearing them when he must (which is steadily becoming all the time). He has messy, short brown hair that he rarely messes with. He usually just runs his hands through it in the morning. It looks like he has cut it on his own quite often, as some patches are a bit longer then the rest.

His usual attire for when in class is a Tweed suit with zany tie along with a pair of Converse's. When not in class, he is usually seen in just a pair of jeans and a shirt.

Keiran Campbell, RA version [Mon, Jun 19th, 2006 at 11:47

]

Name: Keiran Bridget Campbell
Nickname: Key
Age: 26 years old (May 5th)

Rolequin Graduate? No. Keiran graduated eight years ago from Shannonlee, which is located in Scotland.

Family? Father: Patrick Campbell
Mother: Bridget Campbell
Brother: Murphy Campbell

Occupation: Keiran worked for the Irish ministry in the department of Mind Modifications. However, she was recently tranfered to work in the American branch, mostly due to the fact that they were understaffed.

Personality: Generally Keiran is assertive, but sometimes it can be borderline bossy. She is dedicated and is going to make sure she does the best job she can. When not in a work setting, she tends to be very friendly and outgoing, that is...when she is around people she knows. When she is thrusted into a new enviroment, she is very shy until she begins to get to know people. She tries to be optismistic, but it is very hard when she has to read minds and discovers things about people that are disturbing and cruel. She can also be very sarcastic, most of the time without even realizing it.

History: Keiran is good at running things. Though she wasn't the head of her department while in Ireland, she was often asked to help distribute cases and sort the paperwork. Had she not have been transfered, it is likely that she would have become the head of the department when the former retired. She tends to be very assertive, and makes sure things are done. One down fall she has is that she tends to be a work-a-holic, for she spends all her free time helping with charities and organizations. She tries her best to be optimistic about everything, but can be easily discouraged, espicially when she modifies the mind of a sicko.

When her parents were pregnant with her, it was suspected that she was going to be a boy, so they decided to name her after her grandfather on her mothers side, Ciaran O'Brian. When she was born, they were so stuck on the name that they simply changed the spelling of it to how it is now. She grew up near the border of Limerick, Ireland, with her older brother Murphy. She was sent to Shannonlee, mostly because she had relatives close to the school that she could stay with if she liked during the weekends.

Her interest in Mind Modification began during her second year, when a representative from the ministry visited the school, to talk about various oppurtunities that Ministry of Magic offered. She had never thought of learning about the subject until that day, and curious to learn what it was, she began researching it in the library. When it came time to schedule for her third year electives, she asked her house head if there was anyway she could be taught the magics involved with Mind Modification instead of taking one of the regular courses. Somehow, the headmaster arranged for a minister to visit the school on Mondays and Fridays to teach the girl. She quickly became skilled in the basic areas of telepathy, her skills growing over the years. By the time she did graduate and begin her profession in the minstry, her fellow minister were shocked at how skilled she was for being a new recruit.

She was transfered recently to America, because of desperate need for staff, as well as the fact that she was one of the best ministers in Ireland. Her department head had joked quite a bit about that. "Show them yankees what a real witch can do," was how he had put it. Since arriving in America, she had spent more and more time dedicated to her work, mostly because she does not know anyone very well.

Likes: Food - Keiran will always be an Irish girl at heart, so most of her favorite foods are the ones that remind her of home. Her favorite meal is Fish with chips, Banofee pie for dessert, and a tall pint of Guiness to wash it all down with. However, she had grown quite fond of the American Philly Steak sandwich.
Entertainment - Quidditch. She loves to watch Quidditch, but has never been much of a contender. She has a fear of heights and nearly fainted the one time she was forced to fly. Her favorite team is the Caerphilly Catapults of Wales. She does enjoy the muggle sport Football (or as the American's call it, Soccer) as well. She isn't well schooled in the areas of muggle media, she doesnt even own a television.
Dislikes: The Quidditch team the Tutshill Tornados. She is convinced they have been cheating for years.

Appearance: Keiran is a very short woman. She has not grown an inch since she was sixteen, and her official height is 5" 3'. She has light brown hair, not blonde like the popular belief. She typically keeps it cut midlength, just above her shoulders. Her eyes are a rich brown. Her eyes are a tad bit weak, so she generally has to put on glasses to be able to read anything.

Sample Post: *Keiran hated where the ministry was located in the States. She was sure the founding wizards and witches had placed it in its location because they had a seer who knew that one day it would be full of muggle cars, zooming every which way.

She emerged from the alleyway entrance, which lead down to the hidden entrance for the ministry, her eyes watching the cars whoosh past. She groaned. She hadn't gotten used to this. In Ireland, the ministry was located in Dublin, but it was no where near as crowded and full of muggles as this city was. She sighed, stepping from the alley into the massive crowd, grumbling as she did. She moved with the masses, hands stuffed in her muggle coat pocket as she walked*

Jericho Indiana Warryn, RA version [Mon, Jun 19th, 2006 at 11:42

]

Name: Jericho Indiana Warryn
Nicknames: Jeri, Indy
Age: 17 years old (September 7th)
Year: 6th Year
Likes: Food - Jericho isn't generally picky when it comes to food, he will eat almost anything. However, he has a major love for Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. He also tends to eat a larger ratio of vegetibles then meat.
Entertainment - Jericho's all time favorite decade is the 1980's. Anything from that time frame, he cheerishs and loves. His all time favorite film is Indiana Jones and the Raider's of the Lost Ark. He also has a spot in his heart for Bill and Ted, The Breakfest Club, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Ferris Bueller, and The Goonies. As far as music goes, Jericho worships Journey, Billy Idol, Duran Duran, Prince, Cyndi Lauper, The Culture Club, INXS, Aerosmith, Queen and Iron Maiden. Basicially, anything that came about in the 80's, this boy loves.
Courses - Jericho's favorite course in school is Care of Magical Creatures. Since his first week of his third year, he has been devoted to this subject. He often spends his free time visiting the Care of Magical Creatures professor, helping take care of the animals. It isn't a suprise thought, considering how many creatures he has running around at the Warryn Plantation. He also enjoys Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Dislikes: One word. Shrimp.
Appearance: Jericho is the shortest male Warryn, currently at 5 foot 9 inches, though he is still growing. In fact, he is often poked fun at that he is the shortest of all the Warryns, excluding the younger sibilings. His eyes are a deep shade of brown. He has a full head of natural brown curls. He generally has the "just rolled out of bed" look to him, as he rarely combs his hair. When he has the desire and time, he can usually tame his curls to make his hair lay flat on his head. But he generally only does this for special occasions. Adding to the lazy look he has going, he rarely shaves, and maintains a decent stubble. During the summer time, he usually leaves it alone and by the end of June alone has a decent beard. This is only recent, occuring over the past two years or so.
Personality: Jericho is kind, gentle person. He is easy to get along with, but is not as popular as some of his sibilings are/were during their time in wizarding school. He does his best to keep to himself, preferring the company of animals then most people. He keeps things bottled inside himself, and it is not often that he will come out and discuss a problem he may be having, or his personal emotions. He is afraid of what people may think of him if they discovered the person he really is.
History: Jericho is one of the many Warryn sibilings, born after Cairo and before Louisiana and Berlin. He has always had a deep love for animals, he even tried to become a vegitarian when he was six years old. He last three days. He is closest to his brother Berlin, since the two were close in age growing up. As a child, he used to always play Indiana Jones and ofcourse was ALWAYS Indy. He generally forced Berlin to be Short Round. But Berlin is not the sibiling he discusses his problems and feelings with. That privledge goes to his older sister, Cairo. Though he has not reveled his biggest secret to any of his family or friends, she would be the one he'd come out to about it, if and when he does decide to. He plans to become a Dragon Keeper after graduating from Wizarding school.

Sample Post
: *Jericho was on the back porch of the Warryn Plantation, glad that summer had finally arrived. It gave him time to himself...time to spend with his friends, which his family called his pets. He didn't like referring to them in that way...they were his friends...his companions. Identifying them as pets just felt wrong. At the moment, he only had Rufus with him. Rufus was his white ferret, a christmas present from a few years back.

He sighed, Rufus curled up contently on his shoulder, and rested his chin in the palm of his hand, staring out into the trees that were just on the border of the plantation. On the last day of school, Winston...from Gallica, had yanked him into an empty coridor. He could still feels the boys lips against his...and it confused him. The kiss had been like magic, which was rare for Jericho. Maybe it was simply because it had been unexpected. He was not sure. He had blushed when Winston broke from him, patted his shoulder, then said Goodbye...as it was the boys last year. For an hour after the event, he had cursed himself for never saying anything to the boy before that moment, to get his attention. He had all the What if questions running through his head.

However, his biggest worry was, he hoped no one had seen the little display. It had only been a few seconds...nothing to explicit, but enough to grab attention had someone been passing by. He prayed no one had seen...no one knew. Thats the way he liked it...no one knowing about his buisiness...about his relations. He finally let out one long last sigh, before scooping Rufus up, and moving inside the plantation*

Roleplay Updates for 4/4/06 [Wed, Apr 5th, 2006 at 12:04

]
SDLA

Read below, that's all that happened

JACE

- James spent the whole night awake, worrying over where Taylor was. When she returned, he was emotional per usual, but didn't really yell or have a fit. He simply asked questions, then cried a bit. He also felt the baby kick for the very first time. Later on, after skipping work to actually get a decent amount of sleep, he visited Dave and told him that they found out the baby was a boy. He learned about Carlene and the paint drama, and that was all really for the day.

RIP Asher Maguire [Tue, Apr 4th, 2006 at 11:55

]

Asher Harold Maguire was one of the oldest character's I had over at SDLA. He was created on my summer vacation when I was spending time in Corbin, Kentucky at my grandparents house nearly five years ago. He was created with the one purpose of being the significant other for Colleen Osbourne. Over the past five years that I had played him, he had been just that.  He was a character that could not be described without mentioning her name, she completed him.  He had always been one of my favored characters, even if he had been slightly neglected over the past few years. He was my loveable blue haired half demon with a love of demension jumping.

He passed on after a long battle with lung cancer. He leaves behind a wife and one son.

Rest in Peace (Until the Muns decide to ressurect you, if they do)
